Shipping & Returns


Most available items are from our own inventory for immediate dispatch from the UK or Germany, although some items we sell are held centrally at AUTOart's German warehouse. Some of the less popular models and AUTOart Design items are imported to order. We keep our prices low by not having these items in immediate stock.

Orders that include centrally held items may have an additional lead time. Orders that include import to order items may take a little longer. Whilst we try to keep our website up to date, in some circumstances there may be unforeseen demand for a particular model which exceeds the quantity on hand ready to ship. If this is the case we will contact you immediately.

Items listed as 'Back-order' or 'Pre-order' are items that are not currently in stock, but are available to order for when they are re-produced or first released respectively. Your payment card will not be charged until the item is ready to be dispatched.


All items bought on AUTOartCollection.co.uk are sent fully insured, either via Royal Mail or a parcel carrier depending on the weight and value of the order. Customers outside the UK should Contact Us for a shipping quote.

A signature will be required on all our deliveries. If a delivery cannot be made, a calling card will be left to arrange either a redelivery or details on how to collect your order.

If items arrive damaged we will send replacements but we will require you to keep the damaged item(s) and packaging which Royal Mail or the parcel carrier may ask to inspect. Items that are lost in the post will be replaced as soon as they have been confirmed as lost by the respective delivery partner.

Returns will be accepted under the distance selling regulations. Orders that are advised as 'special orders' that have to be ordered in, are not covered by these regulations. In some exceptional circumstance we may accept a return of a 'special order' subject to a reasonable restocking fee.
